The Blue Star Service Banners, also known as Military Service Banners, help military families show their support of family members serving in the U. S. Military.

Displaying a Blue Star Service Banner continues the tradition started in 1917 signifying a family's pride in their loved one serving, and reminds others that preserving America's freedom demands much.

Each blue star represents one family member serving in the armed forces. A banner can have up to five stars, signifying that up to five members of a family are currently in military uniform on active duty.
